Next step towards commercialisation of Perovskite Solar Cells

May 25, 2020

Congratulations to professor Anita Ho-Baillie and her team at UNSW and University of Sydney!

The team were able to drastically improve the thermal stability of perovskite solar cells which is a huge step on the commercialisation of perovskite solar cells. Their novel finding in the application of gas chromatography–mass spectrometry to reveal signature volatile products of the decomposition of organic hybrid perovskites under thermal stress is recently published in the journal Science as "Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry analyses of encapsulated stable perovskite solar cells".
