  • PlasmaGuardS
    PlasmaGuard S is a fully Halogen free nanocoating, typically applied between 100 and 200 nanometers thick. It has a very high water contact angle (>120°) so it significantly reduces water ingress.  It can be applied on a very wide variety of materials including electronics, plastics, textiles and medical devices.
    Plasmaguard S properties:
    • IZ-axis conductive
    • Biocompatible according to ISO 10993-5
    • Not hypersensitive according to ISO 10993-10
    • REACH compliant for SVHCs
    • RoHS and WEEE compliant
    • Allows for excellent membrane breathability (Ret value of 0.9 according to ISO11092)
    • Has no audible impact on acoustics
    • Is very resistant to abrasion

    PlasmaGuard E
    PlasmaGuard E is a fully halogen free dielectric barrier coating for PCB.
    It is typically applied at 1 micron and at that thickness outperforms conformal coatings  many times thicker.
    PlasmaGuard E properties:

    • Exceeds IPX7 and IPX8 requirements
    • Biocompatible according to ISO 10993-5
    • Not hypersensitive according to ISO 10993-10
    • REACH compliant for SVHCs
    • RoHS and WEEE compliant
    • Very resistant to abrasion
    • Excellent dielectric properties
    • Excellent chemical and moisture barrier properties.
    • Unrivalled sweat and salt water barrier properties
    • Applied at 1µm, many times thinner than other coatings
    • Pinhole free 
    • Excellent wettability and adhesion
